EST 571 post 1

My Dad was the Director of Waldbaum's Supermarkets so technology was always around. I went to school to be a computer programmer way, way back in the day and learned Assembler, COBOL, Pascal, RPG and other programming languages.

In the classroom, I don't use technology as much as I would like. I tend to stick with things like school island and study island to create review questions. I don't know how to connect technology with the explicit, rules based instruction that typically goes along with Special Education apart from the worksheets that can be generated using sites like edhelper.com.

At school we use MOODLE, Infinite Campus, and IEP Plus+.
